Transics reports a major contract with the Swedish police force for the supply of tachograph data download and archiving solutions. In a first phase, over 300 police officers throughout Sweden will be equipped with software and hardware to manage and monitor tachograph data and control carriers' compliance with legal requirements. For Transics, the tender win illustrates the strategic value add of last year's takeover of DIS, developer of analog and digital tachograph download and archiving solutions. The contract win also proves the market potential of DIS' products outside its French home market.
