Tielbeke, a logistics services provider from Lemelerveld (the Netherlands) teams up with Transics International, a European market leader in high-end fleet management solutions for the transport and logistics sector. In 2010, Tielbeke will replace its transport and fleet management software and 125 existing on-board computers by Transics solutions. The on-board computers are equipped with advanced features, such as integrated navigation, the possibility to download digital tacho data and a CANBus connection which allows driving behaviour to be monitored, thus reducing the truck’s fuel consumption.

An extra plus is that the other haulage companies within the cross-border partnership that we operate in are also using Transics. In this way there is an optimal exchange of data.”
