The digital tachograph was introduced to enhance safety, legal certainty, uniformity and simplicity into the transport market. In reality, however, the opposite is often true. Old and new tachos have different functions, such as the Remote Data Download (RDD) and the One Minute Rule. Transics' DigiTach solutions ensure the smooth integration of all your tachograph data into your fleet management system.
Drivers can identify themselves easily by inserting their DigiTach driver card into the digital tacho, which is linked to the TX-MAX on-board computer. The TX-MAX DigiTach card reader automatically reads out the data from any driver card, in accordance with all legislation.
As not all tachographs are equipped with RDD features, the back office team cannot always read out the mass memory with the company card. That's why Transics has developed a download solution for new and for older tachographs. If Remote Data Download is possible, Transics supports this feature. In all other cases, the TX-MAX on-board computer downloads the mass memory in the vehicle, with the driver card, and then forwards these data to the office. The TX-SOCIAL package helps to legally manage all the data (archiving) and spot infringements of driving and resting times.

Efficient freight scheduling requires real-time fleet information. That includes an overview of driving and resting times, as recorded by the digital tachograph. Transics' DigiTach features for data synchronisation automatically forward the data from all the tachos to the office, in real time, ready for the TX-CONNECT back office software to provide an up-to-date, at-a-glance overview of all driving and resting times.
