Transics is delighted to welcome Rudy Everaert to its Board of Directors as a Director, representing ING AM Insurance Companies BV acting in its capacity as investment manager on behalf of the investment fund ING Quoted Equity Fund, with effect from June 17th 2010. Mr Everaert will replace Felix Oberdorfer, a Director who represented Parcom Quoted Equity Management BV.

Order confirms strong progression in Eastern Europe
Intereuropa Transport, a prominent Slovenian transport company, has chosen the Quattro Plus on-board computer and TX-CONNECT software of Transics, European leader in fleet management solutions. The Transics total solution forms a perfect match for the advanced needs of Intereuropas existing office software. In this way, Transics helps to save costs; boost efficiency; and improve customer service. The Intereuropa order confirms again that Transics is in the middle of a strong uprising in the Central and East European market.

From 17th until 19th of March, the fair 'Move It Expo' took place in Genk. The company that presented the most innovating concept, product or solution was granted an Innovation Award during the reception afterwards. Transics went home with the first prize!

The French transport company and Transics' client, Mousset Group, has tested the TX-MAX on-board computer that is integrated with the new Transics' TX-ECO programme. This ecological function is a product by Transics and KDC (Key Driving Competences). It uses the data concerning the routes and the drivers' driving style to allow ecological behaviour. Thanks to this new functionality, the Mousset Group has reduced its fuel consumption by 8% per month and per vehicle. Equally, CO2 emissions have been reduced by 8%.

Reference is being made to the press release of 28 January 2010 whereby Transics communicated that it regularly investigates internal and external growth opportunities and that, amongst others, it held exploratory discussions with respect to Punch Telematix. Although these discussions have thus far not led to any binding commitments on the part of any of the parties concerned, Transics is willing, under certain conditions, to consider a combination of both companies.

Combination of TX-ECO technology and driver training with permanent feedback reduces fuel consumption up to 10 percent. Significant savings, also in maintenance costs, are achieved as a result of longer lifetime of brake discs and gearboxes.
