Intereuropa Transport, a prominent Slovenian transport company, has chosen the Quattro Plus on-board computer and TX-CONNECT software of Transics, European leader in fleet management solutions. The Transics total solution forms a perfect match for the advanced needs of Intereuropa’s existing office software. In this way, Transics helps to save costs; boost efficiency; and improve customer service. The Intereuropa order confirms again that Transics is in the middle of a strong uprising in the Central and East European market.
Intereuropa Transport is an important logistics services provider with 245 trucks and subsidiary companies in 13 countries. The group has a lot of ambition and strives for the consolidation of its competitive position and the extension of its European network. When the existing, heterogeneous solutions for fleet management could no longer sustain this growth, Intereuropa chose the Quattro Plus on-board computer and TX-CONNECT back office software of Transics.
The decisive factor in this choice was the smooth integration of the Transics solution with the existing office software for transport management, enforcing the productivity of the Intereuropa team sharply and the advanced functionality of the on-board computer and TX-CONNECT software. The Transics’ fleet management package gives an answer to all the needs of Intereuropa Transport. Transics pointed out the aspect of data communication via GPRS, with a monthly flat fee, what leads to a cheaper telecom invoice. More cost savings are realized thanks to On-board GeoFencing, which avoids wasted kilometres and expensive toll roads; the Driving Time Saldo Viewer for the follow-up of driving and resting times; and the CAN Bus connection to decrease fuel consumption. Furthermore, the Transics solution encourages prompt and detailed reporting which allows transparent monitoring.
“Transics helps Intereuropa to manage its costs and realize considerable savings, so we can generate extra income with the same capacity,” says Bojan Novak, CEO of Intereuropa. The R&D efforts of Transics guarantee that Intereuropa will not only get benefits of its investment today, but also in the future. Therefore, the transporter wants to integrate renewed features like the mobile document scanner TX-DOCSCAN. With this module, drivers are able to send their documents from their cabin to the home base, resulting in a smooth invoicing.
The cooperation with Intereuropa Transport is an important step for Transics in the strategy of becoming market leader in the Central and East European market. Walter Mastelinck, CEO of Transics: “Intereuropa is an important East European player who is making a strong progression throughout Europe. As they are expanding in Eastern to Western and Southern Europe, Transics succeeds in consolidating its market leadership from west to east. Transics has become a strong value in Slovenia and its surrounding countries. We are determined to continue this reinforcement of our position.”
