Offering period IPO Transics starts on June 4th, 2007

Tom Dechaene, Peter Leyman and Luc Vandewalle become independent directors of Transics

Transics, one of the largest European players in relation to on-board computers and fleet management solutions for the transport and logistics sector and ‘Most promising Enterprise of the Year 2006’, is planning to raise new funds and existing shareholders wish to offer existing shares via an IPO and listing on Eurolist by Euronext Brussels. The offering period is expected to start on 4 June 2007 and end on 15 June 2007, under reserve of an early closing. Fortis and ING are acting as Joint Lead Managers, Dexia as co-Manager. From 1 June 2007 the prospectus and a summary shall be available for the public on the company’s website.* Transics is organising 2 roadshows for retail investors on Monday 4 June 2007 and Tuesday 5 June 2007 respectively in Kortrijk and Antwerp.

In the framework of the IPO Transics will expand its Board of Directors with 3 independent directors. The former investment banker and former independent Telindus director Tom Dechaene, former Volvo Cars CEO Peter Leyman and ING Belgium chairman and CEO Luc Vandewalle will strengthen the Board of Directors of Transics with their expertise. Luc Vandewalle will also become the chairman of the Board of Directors of Transics.
