As a full solutions provider of truck, driver, trailer, cargo and subcontractor management, WABCO develops and commercializes FMS for the transport and logistics sector. To benefit from automated and improved dispatching processes, Transcom has equipped its fleet with TX-SKY on-board computers, a high-performing telematics solution from Transics, a WABCO company.
Transcom specializes in international import-export “Europe–Russia–Asia” cartage. Its fleet currently comprises 320 trucks from several leading brands. TX-SKY is a brand-independent on-board computer that includes remote data download, navigation and tacho management, which is fully integrated into WABCO’s back office platform TX-CONNECT.This will enable Transcom to automate the planning and execution of its dispatch process, reduce mileage and establish better communication links between the drivers and its back office.
